ANURAVA brings together individually hand-forged singing bowls, graduated sets and gongs, made in Bankura, West Bengal, India from bell metal worked hot on the anvil.
The craft stays in the hands of families who have kept it. What we can measure, we measure; what we hear, we record; and for documented instruments the record travels with the piece.
One brand, two journeys
The same instruments, described two ways. For the home, we keep it simple: strike once and listen. For professional practice, we go as deep as the measurements allow.
Made to order
Instruments are made to your diameter and finish where possible, and exact pieces are shared for selection when available. Each is heard, and where relevant measured, before it ships.
